Anyone with an interest in yachting in the mid 1980's may well remember 'Howard's Way' - that riveting TV soap, a tale of glamorous yachting folk, grumpy Jack Rolfe of the Mermaid Yard, and some devious dodgy dealings and fashionable ladies!
If you do remember all that, then you'll surely know all about the revolutionary wing keeled Spring 25 which was heavily featured (alongside the ULDB, but that's another story!) These yachts are a great family boat, this one with with sleeping accommodation for four. She has an aft double cabin which wouldn't disgrace a thirty footer and her saloon berths and fore peak are open plan. In her present ownership she has mostly been involved in the local round the cans club racing rather than cruising, so any future owner might wish to add a camping style cooker to her inventory.
